how bout the sacs cafeteria? i hear they're interested in cool guys with the last name of "chalk" for thursday morning.
[sorry, couldn't resist.] if i hear of places, i'll pass it to you. a while ago, my family and i were at ez's, and this really bad band was playing outside. and they were really bad. and the guitarist/singer had a top hat and long brown hair, like a brown haired version of kid rock. ew.
so there's my earliest memory of seeing a gig. random, i know.
have you ever heard of "SAM'S BURGER JOINT?" my cousin used to perform there with his band.... but i don't no when they like schedule for live bands or whatever. so its up to you, maggy
