  • Hello David,
I like your site. You worked hard to make it simple yet elegant. I see that you are a student. I’m glad that’s all over with for me!
I like to write articles about God and religion on my site. I want to help people to really get to know God, especially in these troubled times. Jesus gave us a message of hope that is in the Bible: 14 When the good news about the kingdom has been preached all over the world and told to all nations, the end will come. (Matthew 24:14) (CEV) I hope you get a chance to look at them.

  • If you walk away I'll walk away.. first tell me which road you will take..

sorry.. I just read your last entry, and once you get bright eyes in your head its hard to get him out.
    its rather haunting...

anyways, New York is way cooler than san antonio, you have to admit it.
I really want to go there, but It would be in two years, cause Im planning
on doing an internship with metroministries in NYC next year..

oh, Im in "StageDoor". I play the part of the boarding house owner, Mrs. Orcutt. :D

  • Are you brother and sister? You look alike! Are you sure...???

  • hahahaha incredible! Good times

  • ummm they just don't offer a lot of fair trade certified coffee. the shop i work at is ALL fair trade and stephen is definitely a big proponent of the social justice movement and therefore pretty much anti-any place that is not totally fair trade.

basically though if you go to starbucks press releases to see if they are fair trade, they will say that yes they do participate in fair trade and tout their sense of social responsibility. a press release from a fair trade group will point out that rarely does starbucks feature fair trade coffee as coffee of the day, employees are uninformed about the movement, and something like 5% of their coffee is actually fair trade.

i can't really preach about fair trade because as much as i wish i did, i don't purchase only fair trade. i purchase what is convenient for me and that's horrible, so i really feel like a hypocrite even writing about why starbucks is bad because in truth i'm probably stopping there on the way to school.

  • Why don't you renounce the cigar?  It will kill you...or I will!!  Love, Mom
