God is Good... Kris is a friend. We had a good time taking pictures downtown tonight. Maybe I'll put some of those up later. It's been a while. And finally, "I want to give like I have plenty. I want to dance like no one's around. I want to be the way I was meant to be. I want to be the way I was made!"

hahaha im glad we were safe too! i started thinking about the whole "sorry, i dont have any for you" deal... and i wish that we could have done the whole Paul and the cripple guy by the temple gate thing...
if we said something like... "im not going to give you money, but... i will pray for you", instead of having yet another chandra peele moment... i think i would be feeling a little better about last night.
what do you think? in the heat of the moment, i didnt think about it, but as we were walking back, i was weighing what i did. that guy - statistically - probably didnt have a girlfriend, and probably didnt need denny's. he needed prayer, and a hug. and since im not as comfortable with hugging homeless guys, the least i could have given him was prayer.
