hey there... I was talking with a friend of mine on AIM today and he said that he felt that he can speak better on the phone and the internet than in person. I think maybe it just helps to be able to think berfore you speak... I think silences during a conversation should be, by and large, welcomed rather than uncomfortable. That is all... What can I say? I love you all so much!

I would definitely have to agree about the silences thing. I find it much easier to organize my thoughts when I can see what I'm typing and can change what I say before I say it. I think I save myself many foot-in-mouth moments by thinking before I speak unlike talking in person where I just say what comes to mind so as to close the "awkward" silences.
